Gods at War by Kyle Idleman
The apostle Paul tells us that we fight against "powers and principalities," and then goes on to explain the "armor of God" that protects us in our daily battles. Whether we see them or not, they (the bad guys) are there, and they are real! It is a "spiritual war going on each day with every Christian since the first snake entered the first Garden plot!"
Kyle Idleman is definitely "on a roll!" He came out with the book "Not A Fan", then hit another home run with "AHA", and now another winner with "Gods At War", which ain't too shabby for an ol' Kentucky boy! Seriously, though, there is a constant war of who will get the attention, glory, time, money, and life eternal of the Christian brotherhood and sisterhood. Satan knows he is a "loser," our Lord Jesus took care of that matter, but he's still "roaring like a lion", trying to take as many down with him as he can, just to spite our Lord. Who is YOUR God?......NFL Sunday, The golf course, Cave Run Lake and a good tan, hours of pushing the remote buttons while complaining "There is never anything on I like....honey, call them people and get another channel package added; maybe another 50 reality shows!" There really is a spiritual world(s) out there that certainly affects ours, with the absolute goal of deciding your eternal home. Be aware, and decide for yourself!
