Welcome to the home page of our "16 Weeks Thru the New Testament". We are excited to begin the new year on a church-wide campaign to read the entire N.T. together as a church family. This page will provide information on how to get ready for this exciting adventure. So . . . continue reading to learn more about how to join the journey. |
Make the decision to read through the New Testament in 16 weeks. We are basing the reading guide off of the Immerse Bible reading plan by Tyndale House Publishers. A hard copy of the reading guide will be provided at the Water Source. You can also access it through the app and at the bottom of this page.

The first level of commitment is to read through the N.T. for yourself. If everyone in the church read through the New Testament then our church would be better for it. The goal for individual reading is to complete the weekly reading and reflect on the weekly questions provided in the reading guide. Some may find it advantageous to discuss what you have read with others (family, friends, a church group, a zoom group, church Facebook group, etc). Participating in a group can be a great way to learn from one another, pray with one another, and encourage one another in following Jesus. (See "My Plan" in the form below)
|
The primary function of these groups are to provide an opportunity for healthy discussion, prayer & encouragement. The person who serves as a facilitator will ensure that the group has healthy discussion and values everyones' time. Support for Group Facilitators will be readily available from the pastoral staff. Everyone will participate by discussing the questions provided in the reading plan. Groups may choose to meet in homes, at the church, a zoom meeting, etc.

Make up your mind to finish what you start. The idea of reading through the N.T. is not as good as reading through the New Testament. The Bible is the main method God uses to speak to His children. If we want our walk with Christ to grow, then we must spend time getting to know him better through His Word.
