I remember well my first weeks of moving to Mt. Sterling KY. It was the summer of July 2003. I had graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. My wife was teaching at Farnsley Middle School and I was teaching a first grade class at Sanders Elementary.
The Lord had called us to plant a church in Mt. Sterling in His name for His purpose. We were excited. This was going to be several “firsts” in our marriage. My wife and I bought our first home, were expecting the birth of our first child, while in the process of birthing a new church.
